Everything in “Torn Times” is instinctive and direct. The new addition of the voice seemed natural, as did the saturated and incredibly violent sound. The songs are short, very short, because sometimes it takes little to say everything. The 90s noise-rock influences are obvious. Compared to the previous work, in “Torn Times” has been made an extreme subtraction work following the logic -perhaps now overused and hackneyed – of ‘’less is more’’ which however always has its meaning. The same philosophy has been followed for the production of this record: an almost non-existent editing and an essential mix.
